The six-storied 'deepstambha' or ornamental lamp pillar in the Mahalsa temple is its major attraction. This splendid pillar is 40 feet in height and has 21 rings of a hundred fifty small lamps. The special festivals when you can see the tower lit up are the Jatra, Jaiyanchi Puja which is held in August and the Kojagiri Pornima.
